The Cryo Hauler Thread

Yeah, definitely weird behavior. With how inconsistent it is, I'd say it's electrical gremlins. It's definitely the time of year for it. Could still be mechanical or a bad pump, but weird #### like that could be a short. Always been that when we've had oddball pump issues.

 

Are you keeping the pump pressure above the tank pressure while opening the discharge valve? And are you sure the recirculation valve is closing?

 

So even though I'm no longer going to be hauling cryo. Will still keep a eye on this thread. Because I experienced it and know some now.

 

The pump pressure would hit 200 and then i would close the recirculation valve right away. I would also try to do it a different way by closin it before the 200. I tried a few different ways that night i even messed with top fill and bottom fill of the customer tank. It was the most frustrating thing ever. I told my 2nd trainer this mornin that i have to use the bypass in order for pumpin to work because havin the lever down on bypass didnt pump anything at all. He told me that i shouldnt have to be usin bypass for trailer to pump anything. I even told him step by step of everything i did and also about what happened to me Friday with losin pressure on pump and how it went from 72gallons per minute down to 28gallons per minute.

 

What are you gonna pull ? Im tryin to stay as positive as i can here but im gettin to that point where i wanna say PEACE cuz i havent made the money i want here i barely crack 1000.

 

Going food grade at Oakley. With how much experience overall driving. I can probably do something else. But I want to pull a tanker

 

So since im havin trouble with current trailer i was told to bring it to this place here in Indiana where they fix them and i got here and found another SPT trailer here lmao. Guess wha? The other trailer that is here, is the one i had with pony motor when i tried to do my first load. I had trouble with that trailer unloadin cuz it was different from what i was trained on cuz i didnt know where the rpms were. Im pretty sure my trainer tried unloading it and found out he couldnt. That incident led to me getting retrained and now its like im reliving that moment of no pumpin from a trailer again.

 

Dependin on things that happen this month i might end up leavin SPT too. I might go back to dry van to complete the few months i need to have the 2 years total experience and then go to Genox do cryo again. I dig cryo but it hasnt been a good experience here for me at this company.

 

I think im done with this company now.
The PTO doesnt work again.
