What part of Maine do you live in? JP Noonan has a terminal in Gorham. I can also think of HO Bouchard in Hampden.

Both those locations are far from the companies I mentioned. Best of luck to you.

They can THINK about it all they want, but I know a certain AP terminal that their drivers only load to 79000-79100…..
They tease me for loading to 79700 lol

If it's legal. I don't see a reason why not to get close to 80000. I know my first ever solo load. I was at 79500

You're assuming the loading scales are dead ### accurate to the ones at the scale house...

That's all we have to load by. We load to the set point that management puts in.
As drivers we are only required to be at 80K or less on our platform scale before leaving. Any discrepancy or over axle is not a drivers issue.

Man we had some funny setups that you had to axle out when I was at AP or you would be way over without moving fifth wheel or short loading. It got better over time as we standardize the trailers but ever once in awhile you would get the odd ball trailer or tractor.

We can't move fifths or trlr tandems and we swap power all the time.
On a dedicated unit they may unbolt the 5th wheel or the king pin plate and move it to try and equal weights

    Cali kid Thanks this.
