You're averaging over $1,800 a week as a company driver?

Rallies have been planned in more than 40 states. All start at 9 a.m. local time. The goal is to educate the general public and local media on security, economic and safety issues related to trucking and ELD’s.

Hmm, let's tell the general public that something that makes it harder for us to cheat the rules is a safety issue. That should be interesting. :)

Try telling the general public that working 14 hours a day or 70 hours a week is not enough. Why not just say 14 hours a day is enough, and we start charging for our time. Who wants the sit for free?? Not me, because after 14 hours I'm parking.

Now all you drivers and companies that want to sit for free will have to pay the price for doing that. Now your mad for your choice of sitting for free because you can't make up for that time.

From what I hear it sounds like freight rate are going way up. I have load that will probably be late today. If anyone complains I'll be happy to show them how it took 3 hours to unload and reload at the same place.

I seen some YouTube truckers finally get their ELDs installed.
