I just started leasing after I finished grad at the beginning of summer to team with a friend. We're losing our shirts on the leasing program. We're not getting the miles needed to make money like we should be, but the potential is there to make money. You just have to make sure you have a DM that is willing to bend over backwards to keep you running. I'm constantly on my DM's butt to give us miles, but we often get loads where it takes 6-7 hours to load and just as long to unload, which eats into our drive time. It's why we refuse to do California any more.
Soon as we're back on the yard we are turning the truck in and breaking the lease. It's not worth the penny pinching and we're teaming to make money. We'll try teaming on company side and if it doesn't improve then we're leaving for another company.
I would recommend Stevens for brand new drivers who need the training. They are a good company, but I don't recommend anyone to do the leasing program until they're out of grad fleet and have a good grasp of how Stevens operates.

Sorry its not working for you. Did you request a new DM or anything?
Anyway, hope company side works out better. Let us know how its going -
Will do. =) -
Leasing isn't for everyone, but for some of us, it works very well.
There is a curve to learning the system and the first year...especially the first six months is the most difficult.
Talk with your business manager about your concerns. Talk with Major...they can help you and they're there for your use.
Good luck.
