The GPS they use in aircraft nails your groundspeed down pretty quick. Even when you start taxiing at a crawl it picks it up almost immediately. A mechanical speedometer takes about the same amount of time to register.

bla bla bla who cares if your speedometer is off 2 mph, where do you get this safety pass thingie at?

My speedometer reads 67mph, and nearly every roadside radar display shows me as doing 63-64 mph. Somehow, I suspect that the speedometer is what's off, not the multitude of radar guns across this vast nation.
BUT, I am not sure if they are powered by the Stalker 2 radar unit, so maybe all of those roadside radar displays are off, too. At least the tons not utilizing the Stalker 2 technology. -
