    Schneider’s been pulling Tankers from the beginning. Pretty sure that’s what they started with. Schneider National, that is. The Original Unionized Schneider. They were around till the early- mid 90s. Schneider Non Union Drivers weren’t allowed to talk to them. Lol.

    Stevens was doing pneumatics a while back in the oilfields, that whole division went belly up, it's kinda hard to keep a contract when you have a revolving door of drivers for something that isn't dry van which requires zero skill.

    I’m not a tanker guy. Why does a tanker need 3 axles if it’s limited to 80K like the rest of us?

    You don’t remember Schneider heavy haul. And you are correct. They were in just long enough to hurt the rates.

    Early 1980's SNBC was a cleaning customer doing a lot of the 'nasty' water treating compound AKA Elephant Snot that messed up our waste stream.

    wasn't until years later that I learned how to tame that crap.
