The End Of Forward Air . From bad business decisions, bad internal management, an aging fleet of trailers that date back to 2011 still on the road ... that the company has no money to replace. Dispatch that is basically chaos on a daily basis, hometime that is not reliable for " owner Operators " ... drivers sitting around for days for loads ... my prediction is that very soon Forward Air will be the next company to fail . But it's failure will not be solely on the economy. It will be because of all the internal problems . Greed , poor management and irregular maintenance on old equipment is what will kill this company. 5 years here and the slide to the cliff is stark & quite alarming.

Forward Air (FWRD) Stock Forecast and Price Target 2025
analysts don't agree. -
Analysts don't work there and see the daily chaos. The old jalopy trailers , the minimal maintenance done to them. The difficulty in getting loads/ hometime.
The disconnect from the management to the drivers. The incompetence of dispatch. Facts, figures and numbers don't register the truth. -
So if the outlook is grim, what're you holding on for?Lonesome and Albertaflatbed Thank this.

Trust me , I would've been gone by now, but I drive with my wife, and she doesn't want to quit.

Divorce much?
I'm kidding. If you truly wear the pants, let her know that she'll have no other choice but to follow you out the door... or else

Atlanta trucker and Whiteline64 Thank this. -
I remember those fun days of expedited runs, sitting on the tarmac all day with the doors open while they loaded a pallet or two per hour, shaking the truck just enough to wake me up. Then driving 500 miles non-stop to make my appointment time, only to find no one at the receiver for another four hours.
Atlanta trucker, Whiteline64, BrothaTrucka513 and 1 other person Thank this.
