Sorry to hear about your termination. I-40 runs along hwy 70. I would never imagine going that far on hwy 70 when I-40 runs along side it. That should just be common sense. Anytime there is an interstate along the route they tell you to take, always take the interstate. These computer systems they use to route you just chooses the shortest route. that may be interstate for a few miles then back roads for awhile and back to interstate. Most times you can just run an interstate and save so much time and less ware and tare on the truck.
