The thread title made me LOL..

I'm really not a fan of Flying J's.. I've had a couple headaches there soo far, so I wrote them off.. Not to mention those headaches were comdata related.. :-/

Well the Delta-Northwest merger went really smooth. SO far the United-Continental one is smooth as new Interstate.

BJnobear if you noticed I said MOST mergers don't go well. Yes some do,but thats the exception not the rule. Part of it isfiguring out which policies to keep, change, or get rid of,and combining computer networks. Also getting employees on the same page on doing things is a part it. Also comparing airlines to a National T/S chain is like comparing apples and oranges.

I would not say the merger with Northworst and Delta was smooth.
At Minn. airport they were and still are a joke.I've flown out of there for 9 years and the last 2 have been a reaal pain in my arse.

Also now the costs of tickets have jumped allmost 100%.
Last year I could fly home with buying my ticket 4 months out for # 1200. Now try 2200.
    You call that smooth.
Plus the flight attendents have gotten worse and fatter than ever.

No idea rather or not your offcial from pilotflyingj,
but maybe you can anwser this.

    Why so shower credits expire?
Why no free drinks (coffee or fountain drink)when us drivers spend$$$ every time we fuel?

there are many a driver who have asked these same exact ?s at every single trucking related website, yet no from your company will officaly come on and answer us.

yeah the taking away showers are total crap. i mean we spend 400-500 dollars every fill up. we EARN the showers with our money. why take them away after 5 days? i think they should at least stay on there for a month if not forever.

Yeah I like Loves showers alot better. Bad thing is now Loves has taken over some of the old Pilots and I hate Pilots showers! Hopefully they will remodel the old POS Pilots they took over soon.
