holy crap, isn't one trailer enough?????? :)

seriously, I see Mile High Foods pulling Rocky Mountain doubles sometimes, I've seen someone (name escapes me) pulling two 28's.

but i've never seen them go out and drop one, deliver the other, etc like an LTL P&D guy.

I fill in for the shuttle guys on their vacations and do my regular peddle routes rest of the time.

Produce biz is good atm, we landed a huge new account handling university of michigan foodservice starting Monday, that's my new baby.

My place I get paid by the day, I make the same whether I hump 14k or sit in the yard and finger myself for 8 hrs.

Typically though transit or shuttle guys are top of the food chain senior dudes making killer jack for watching the road go by. Good gig if you can get it.

interesting, we have some shuttle dudes (they shuttle from denver to SLC) and all they get is the miles, it's pretty suck pay. no pieces, so mostly they get done by 3rd party's (JB Hunt, etc) who probably charge an arm and a leg. It would be cheaper to overpay some guys to run the shuttles.

but hey, you can't spell stupidest company in the world without mbm.
