We have so many internationals down here in plant city still in service. Some are not that bad, some on the other hand just need to be retired....... We got like 11 new trucks in waiting for tags. Some are single screw tractors and all new volvos. The new ones have regular halogen headlights but the fog lights are now LED. Kinda weird you think they would just match the front lights.

Mark said you guys have a lot of single axle, why is this?
-
I think our 2016's have LED head lights, the fogs I don't know. Our Internationals are mostly spare status now there maybe one or two that are in everyday use, but most of them are spares now. I don't know how many exist some of them like the one I have now is one of the better one's, but others oh dear lord.
They got rid of it, way back when last year almost 2 years ago, but we had a Sterling at our yard for a while. Did you guys ever have the Sterlings in Florida?
Sad to say this is the only picture I have of this truck the last Sterling to grace our yard:

Lol, no sterlings down here. We have a lot of single axles because of the areas we deliver in. Beach routes are worse than delivering in downtown Tampa small streets and really small parking lots. We also have 36ft trailers, those trailers are mostly for school routes. My one school route I average right around 950-1000 cases 7 stops 200 miles. I had a single axle volvo for about 5 months and it was great, you can fit in places you never thought you could. The problem you run into is axle weight, I have gotten busted for being over weight on my axle when I had it. If you do a lot of back hauls they don't really want you in a single axle.
Mike2633 and Pintlehook Thank this. -
This was the single axle I had with a 36ft trailer
Mike2633 Thanks this. -

I come out of the ware house in Plant City Fl

That isn't Ohio or Classic GFS territory issue. @Pintlehook and I are from the same area he's from Pittsburgh I am from Cleveland were both in GFS Alegahni Valley Division Territory and we don't have the 36' were 50' and those are in short supply or 28'. Also our Volvo's are different ours are all twin screw with the full blown air fairing.
We have tight spots and places too, and we don't have the single axles or the smaller air shield, we get the full package up here for some reason.
This was my old truck before I switched routes I used to drive a 2015 transit unit, but switched routes and had to give it up.
This was at the GFS store in Mentor, Ohio. This is what all our new trucks look like.
This is Aberdeen, MD they are similar to us, but for some reason they get mirrors on both sides of the hood:
This is was taken out side of King of Prussia, PA
@LOUMO are you guys getting the slider trailers?
We have like 1 2016 trailer in our fleet I saw it at our yard this week and thought it was a mistake. -
Here is my beauty. Pretty sweet ehh, what do you guys think of my sweet bumper? Pretty cool!
It had some unauthorized body work done to it while I was in Aberdeen,MD.Rocks Thanks this.
