Yeah they don't have very many openings usually. Univar driver I talk to on here said they went like 4yrs without hiring a driver.

For all my west coast fuel haulers just found out superior tank lines has stepped up again, and is now offering 100% company paid medical insurance for employees and their families. Thats a good deal when you match it with a top scale wage of $27hr in CA, with O.T. after 40. Just need to find out what kind of insurance it is.

That’s a good deal. I’ve heard not Greta things about them. Don’t they have cameras?

Hey what's up guys. @Cali kid what's going on over at your old yard. The OG guys are on strike. There are some guys I've never seen before driving the red 76 trucks. There are united guys driving white sentinel trucks. Heard from one of the OG guys before the strike that sentinel management wants them on the United work and pay schedule. Straight time and 5 day weeks and on the bottom of the seniority list for days off.

Also superior sounds great but I want to be able to vape and use my phone (hands free) when I drive :D

Yup it's over like I knew it would be, everything the OG's are telling you is true. They want to treat everyone like the stepchild United now, it the end of the road. They brought in drivers from out of state to help cover the work even other managers, just gonna starve them out.

Yea man I'm surprised their loads are getting covered. Personally I have not been given a single load, besides just our normal 76 stations that we've always done. And yea maybe they brought in scabs but most of those trucks are just sitting over there, the yard is packed.

You definitely saw the writing on the wall buddy, glad you got out and got situated in something else and didn't get caught up in this.

It's a mess, I never liked the United deal especially when they took away their O.T. pay. They're couple of us ex sentinel guys still working together and we are glade we got out.

Yeah fuel seems to get worse and worse with these companies, and they wonder why they struggle to find good drivers.
