Culture index surveys are normally used to measure employees' satisfaction with the culture of the company they work for. To me it seems really weird that they would give one to an applicant who's not yet an employee.

That makes no sense. I think he either means something else or something like that. Like a political atmosphere survey. RUN !!!!

Back in the day Old Dominion used to have applicants fill them out. I swear it was a randomly generated pass or fail. I answered 'good' and got told I didnt fit in with their company philosophy. I whined about it so much that buddy went over and applied, took the survey, and basically said he was going to steal everything but the kitchen sink and was a sociopath, and he got offered a job.hope not dumb twucker and Rugerfan Thank this.

6 months back in the seat and I finally have all my cards again, feels good to be done and have that monkey off my back.
The only company that gave a break and offered me a shortcut to get re-carded after my 3 year hiatus was, believe it or not, a certain Royal-Dutch company with an oceanic logo.RockinChair, scythe08 and Rugerfan Thank this. -
It doesn't pay six figures in saturated markets where the living is easy, no doubt. Everyone in my company gets bumped to the front of the line for job openings in places like FL, GA, and TX ahead of external candidates.
And no wonder when they get 300 applications for one opening. Guess people will have to get creative or move, but God forbid they be forced to make a hard career decision. -
Any one know if Loves/Gemini has a direct recruiter anymore? I know a few years back they did. But now all calls to them have been outsourced to the typical places. Infuriating.

Judy Salmeron was my recruiter, she's one of three if I recall correctly. 405-815-7399RockinChair and bentstrider83 Thank this.

Hadn’t gotten a chance to search the thread yet but I was wondering if any of you guys had access to any calibration charts. I have the red book from oilmens ( https://trucktanks.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Oilmens-Fact-Finder.pdf)
And the green book from highland tank
For gas stations I’m fine I can always get a printout/ veeder root and match notes. Problem is we do a lot of commercial and hole in the wall sites with above ground tanks. A lot of tanks by steel intstitute where they don’t have and exact chart for them. I found 2 here ( UNIDOCS :: Tank Calibration Charts ) and wanted to know if anybody had access to any others.
