AL just bought out AirGas, our plant is really old. Rumor is it might close down eventually. I'd try to go to PraxAir, but it's way to far of a commute. Just trying to find something where I can still bring in same income.

Hmm it's alot different here in socal. You could also try the chemical fleets such as Brenntag or Univar.

You can see if Northstar Chemical has an opening at their yard in Tacoma. I'm putting in an app at their Sherwood, OR location. Regional distributor, home everyday M-F. Rotating weekend on call, only comes out to once a quarter down here.

I actually interviewed at Univar, but they ended up passing on me because I didn't have any tanker experience at that time. Then they called me back few months later wanting me to reinterview, but that was the week that I was starting at Air Liquide. I keep an eye on them from time to time, but they aren't hiring right now. Also no Brenntag in Seattle area. The closes one is in Portland.

I know of a few fuel companies in the area, which are:
    KAG West - No thanks
Superior Tank Lines - They advertise A LOT, so I'm guessing their turnover rate is through the roof.
Sentinel - Hiring right now, so I guess I'll test my luck.

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately that is way to far of a a commute in our traffic. My wife and have been thinking about moving back to Portland area though, so I'll keep them in mind if we decide to do that someday.

Yeah they are pushing for drivers on the west coast in general since mom and pop, aka phillips 66 isn't making any money off crude. We've had guys from the crude side transfer over to help out at United, the acquired company, but they don't last long

Your crude guys scale at our yard. They are not in any kind of hurry, that's for sure.

Santa Nella is pretty far up north from Los Angeles, I occasionally make deliveries over there. Excellent pea soup down there.
