Well since I started this thread ill end my posting as a L/O to it.. I put in my 7 day resignation today.
No freight to get it to marshfield this weekend or to Ellenwood for that matter. I can turn it in at Ellenwood and get charged about $1000.00 for "recovery" fee and it not be abandonment or turn in at marshfield and rent a car 30 miles from there and drive it to ATL to turn it in cause they don't one way rent to Augusta.
Got till Monday to decide, leaning towards Ellenwood since its my "home terminal" anyways, cause I'm sure they are gonna bill me out the butt anyways. as they proved with James turning in his truck and getting another from Roehl.

Sorry Eric
You have something else lined up?

Some local things I'm shooting for, main reason for me leaving is my wifes health is getting to the point that i cant be gone for weeks and weeks at a time. with her and our 9 yr old son. its hard for her to do so. hell trip before last when i was out she had a black out while in the bathroom fell, woke up on the floor and had to get a friend to bring her to the ER. she cracked her left kneebone and hairline fracture of her right ankle. that was the 3rd time in 4 months.
Its mostly due to her being a full blown diabetic among countless other problems. Hell shes only 36

Sorry to hear about your wife...diabetes can be hell to manage. Good luck to the both of you.

Thanks, Yea ill still be around here some I'm sure. Checked on Rentals from Marshfield to home, ppl are crazy wanting anywhere from $400.00 to $1400.00 to rent a one way car.

Must be the time for turbo's, just replaceed mine- few hrs labor and 1600$ for the turbo caught mine before it did any damage though. I understand your having to return the truck but have you tried just going regional out 4-5 days. i did that for a month or so and made more miles than 2 weeks out. sorry to hear about your wife i know its hard being away. keep us posted

Good luck bro, hope everything works out well. Tell that woman to keep on the proper diet, that #### can get out of hand quick if she doesn't stay up on things.

Sorry to hear about your wife and I know how hard it is to have things happening at home when you're three states away. I would echo Micheal on checking into regional before ditching the whole deal. I'm getting ready to try to find third party loans and leases to buyout this truck. Just an idea to think about.

Sorry to hear about the wife...at least you have some sort of plan...good luck to ya
