Just because Heyl is always hiring doesn't mean that they hire every applicant. That's just how OTR is, drivers come and go for different reasons.

Good job and benefits might be worth a 200 mile every 10 days round trip to me... But then again, I would also hope they would let me take truck home too...

Na I only have one vehicle f250 and three kids no way my wife would go for that she works full time and the fuel would not be worth it for me.

Have you checked out H.O. Wolding? Based on their website they hire out of Florida and you could run OTR or Regional. Also haven't really heard any
bad about EPES. Good luck with your search.

Epes doesn't hire south of Wildwood from what I was told, I was pre-hired there several months ago and just before I was ready to head to NC for orientation I was talking about parking and stuff with my recruiter and then he asked me again for my zip code to find me a place, put me on hold and came back on to tell me no good, too far south of Ocala and I'm only 25 miles from Wildwood... oh well....Never checked on Wolding though....

It looks like Wolding hires from St. Petersburg north. I don't know if it is any different for folks down in FL but here in Maine I will be able to take the truck home. I'm headed to orientation Nov. 1st. Based on your experience, it looks like you would be at their top level of pay .40 cpm.
