Woot, Woot! Passed my road test, orientation Tue & Wed, then I'll get my truck...if they have any available, as of right now there aren't any. Apparently, everybody's truck decided to break down this week, just my luck. Ahh well, I'm still enjoying Florida, so it ain't all bad!

Easy, yes...but mind numbing with the videos. Still no trucks available, but I think I'm getting an older Volvo.

Yeah, but you already knew that after talking to me today. I feel like a super genius today, the load out of Minute Maid does indeed load out by 18:00...tomorrow. They let me drop my empty & bobtail to the Love's in Auburndale until morning. The guards were pretty nice about it & told me they would do their best to make sure the load is ready first thing in the morning, but they really don't have any control over that stuff.

It was nice meeting you today and thanks for the directions. Enjoy your home time.

Yep, & with 15 hours to kill I got my truck all set up nice & neat.

You weren't kidding about the Volvos not pulling worth a crap, the "hills" along I-75 in Georgia slowed me down to 55.

Sheesh, can't wait to take that thing through some real hills. The Jake is all but useless too.

But man, I tell you what, it's roomy and rides like a Cadillac so I'm just gonna be thankful I have a decent rig to hum on down the road in.

if its a volvo engine, the engine brakes work best at a higher rpm and lower gears.
