Good call! Most guys would've still tried to see if they could squeeze through at 40mph lol.

Yeah, I don't really want to get fired second week on the job...or at all for that matter, I kinda like it here.

Nice! I've been running pretty hard & trying to make a good impression. Haven't made any huge mistakes, a few minor ones, but I can live with that...chock it up to the learning curve.

If things keep up this way, I'll be here quite a while.

Still going great here at Heyl, I'm starting to get in a groove & figure things out. Miles were a little low last week but that was due to a series of unfortunate events. This week is gonna be on the low side as well, had four short runs this week but those pay a lil better on the mile so that's ok. Had to do a 34 hour reset in the middle of the week too, so that didn't help the miles. On a nice 1300 mile run to Laredo now that I should be able to turn in before cutoff, so this week could be alright after all.

Nice to see someones keeping this thread alive. .I left Heyl end of October to head to the Oilfields in North Dakota, good company to work for if your from Florida. The shop and office are real layed back and easy to deal with. Pa.y is alright for reefer plus you usually can go out for 10-14 and i always took 3-4 days off but you can stay out longer. Headed up to Oil patch in North Dakota to make some money, definitely making more but it aint no picnic, just have to make it through this winter. Good luck with Heyl.

I'm on E-logs and I think all new hires are put on E-logs. I could be wrong, so check with recruiting on that.
