Looked at the full list, most were very rural areas or smallish cities. Except Houston, which was on there twice for some reason.

So this is done by measuring Bachelor's degree's?

There is a lot of open space there, like what about trade schools, apprenticeships, I'm pretty sure most of the construction field, or skilled trades dont have a degree either.

Seems sketchy, but who knows. Illegal farm workers? could be true.

The same could be said for those who think opposite of Californians. If that's a word. There's a lot of unbridled hate for California, largely because of differences of philosophy, but I don't think it's fair to say they're indoctrinated.

 

If you determine how educated an area is based on the highest level of education, I'd say many places in southeast could win that easily. I tend to believe there are varying ways to determine someone's education level.
