The MGM Transport Experience

Yes we are merged with Caldwell and Foothills and Lance. Its known together as Furniture Transport Group....but run seperately.

 

Okay has been a few weeks but from 3/28-4/3: Load took home from yard for wknd delivered 7 stops across northern PA in the Scranton area. Went empty down to Nestle in Allentown,PA for load of water to deliver in Fredericksburg,VA. Then empty to Richmond,VA for load of Sears appliances to an outlet store in Raleigh,NC. I did a goof here by locking my keys in the truck with it running still about 20 feet from dock...lol! Had to wait a few hours but company sent another driver with a key to get me in and unload! Then empty back to yard.

 

Here is second trip for same week. Sorry in 2 parts but am updating from cell so can update more often! After got to yard p/u load with 9 stops this time around the Syracuse,NY area. They held me up at one of them so missed last 2 and had to deliver those next day but no problems. Went empty to Reading,PA for my backhaul of rolls of paper i took back to the yard in NC. Dropped that and got my load back home, was longer week got home Saturday night about 6pm. Miles.....2650, Stops....20, D&H....2. So grossed about $1,110 after tax about $950 so another great week! Okay sorry to do this all at once but week from 4/4-4/10: Got home extra day since short weekend so delivered to Staples in Hagerstown,MD on Tuesday. Went empty up to Allentown,PA for more water going to Fredericksburg,VA again. Then empty to Lowes in Garysburg,NC for short load to Greensboro,NC (drop and hook both ends), then empty to our yard and got a good load going to Vermont! I love it up there had 3 stops up at top in the ski areas near Burlington. My wife rode with me and we toured the Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream Plant...all i can say is yummy!!!!! Next went empty all way down to Allentown again for yep more water but took this one home for weekend. Great week again: Miles...3,095, Stops...5, D&H...5. Gross about $1,100 again and took home about $925. Things still rolling great here!

 

Will update next weeks later today. Can tell you had good variety though went to OH and IL! And this week so far been to FL! Take care!

 

Im actually back in Vermont now. Have 14 stops up here I love it. Mostly east coast but also states like IL,IN,OH,TX and midwest i think. I know some (usually o/o's go to CA). They keep you busy though, I will update last couple weeks later.
