Sorry havent updated in awhile been busy. I have pretty much been averaging about 3,000 to 3,500 every week running loads to VT or upstate NY and sometimes shorter one to PA or NJ. Had one up to Cranston,RI last week. Backhauls have usually went back to the High Point yard. I have my passport now so will start running Canada loads shortly. Checks been consistant around $800-850 weekly take home. Happy trucking all!

This week has been little shorter. Had to get my annual DOT inspection / service done on Monday took most of day. Ran load to Harrisburg and Reading in PA then backhaul to yard. Then load to Rochester,NY and empty to Erie,PA going to drop in Greensboro,NC. Will be about 2,700 miles with just about 5 stops.

Sorry all has been awhile for an update. Have been pretty consistent of about 3,000-3,500 miles per week running multiple stop loads to NY and PA and VT. I did go to Canada for first time last week and I LOVED IT!! The border and customs were a breeze and people up there are so nice. That week also gave me a great paycheck of around $1,000 after taxes!
This week am off tomorrow to a 15 stop load in NH,VT and MA. Looks like another good week. I just finished my 90 day "probation period" with the company and I look forward to being here a long time. My health insurance kicks in first of July so thats something else good to look forward to.
Happy Trucking Everybody.....Take Care! -
Hi,
I was wondering how things are going at MGM transport from your previous posts sounded like a good place to work. Any updates?
thanks -
Not too bad but has slowed down since thanksgiving. Miles have gotten less lately. I would still say above average based on what I see on here. Might shop around at first of year or go back long haul if pays more but not sure. Our safety man quit and someone else doing dispatching now so might be a good thing. Benefits are so so. Not real impressed with shop takes long time for any repairs but usually have spare truck you can use.....although most of them are pretty nasty. Lots of the drivers don't take care of them but that's probably same at most companies. I hope this helps.
