Loaded in hot as hell Arkansas. Taking my 10 here and will deliver tomorrow. No way I could make a truck stop tonight anyway. Will be in Pasadena, TX tomorrow. It as I call it, the Taj Mahal.

What a pain in the butt. You could havr just rolled with it. What would have paid more 500 miles empty or the layover you got?

Kankakee started blowing up my phone going down flat top mountain in WV. They wanted to know if I had a 4 inch dust cap to rescue some delivery back in Charleston. I told them I was off Friday and wouldn't get home if I went back.

It worked out . Got the 5 hour delay, 250 empty, and loading, plus I'm onto delivery in the morning.

Tomorrow has already changed. Pasadena doesn't have a load for me on Saturday so they're tank washing me to Lake Charles. I'll run out of Sulfur again.

Starting to contemplate a go home date. Was going to stay out 3 weeks or so to make up for taking so much time off in July, but now, maybe just 2 and a half weeks out.

Had to take a 10 at 244 out from Lake Charles. I'll get there and be shut down by 1100. Personal conveyance will be used to bobtail over to the yard where IllI take a 10. I load tonight in Westlake again, and run that up to Mapleton Illinois for delivery Tuesday afternoon.

At that point I'll be low on the 70 and not gaining much. Wouldn't be surprised if Markham had me do a rest and then do a Raeford run over the weekend. I might even suggest that. I could get a lunch with the family down in Raeford. That's always nice and helps break up a long system run.

Loading in a few hours. The plan is to run to the Memphis terminal over night. I'll take a 10 there and figure out where to get this load steamed in St Louis. Don't believe the Memphis tank wash will be open Sunday, so St Louis is where I need to go.

If you know where I get this steamed, shoot me a message with the address.

Best to call log ops as it may not even need to be steamed. But my guess would be
    East St. Louis Tankwash
    1102 N 1st St # 1, East St Louis, IL 62201
I-70 exit 2 - If you are coming up from Memphis take 255 across the river and then follow that to 64 into 70. If you stay on 55 and cross the river in STL you wont be able to get on 70W and will have to turn around in some questionable areas. I really hate how they designed the new interchanges there.

Surprised you are on Markham/Kankakee inbound for that. St. Louis is usually Memphis inbound. I think eventually it will get its own terminal.

Mapleton is far enough north for either. Memphis had a plenty of drivers when I left earlier, so maybe Camp Markham needs a resident.

My 70 is getting low and I'm not picking up great hours. Not sure what they'll do with me. Figure it's a short run or reset me.

Decided to be back on the 29th, so they have options to use me.

I know it will depend on the product hauled but can you give an avg estimate of the time it takes to get the tank washed? Thanks for keeping this thread going!
