I use mine for coffee, ice, and the occasional corndog. Haven't paid for anything at a J or Pilot, except for fuel, paid LOTS for that, in 2 years.

Chunky sirloin burger, and Chunky BBQ pork soups are both edible from the can, IMO.

Any of the chowder/potato based ones, not so much......

Potato bacon and chicken corn chowder are my favorites.
It is really helping me with portion control and an idea with how many calories I'm eating. After a while it's much easier to make better decisions.
I don't think I've seen the sirloin burger one. I hate the ones with mushrooms in them.

I like both of those, too. But I can't eat 'em cold.

Now that the weather seems to FINALLY turning colder around here, I'm gonna be back on soup. I don't have a micro in the truck, but I have a "lunchbox" oven. I'll probably just use a large foil bread pan, and wrap it in extra foil like I do to cook rice. Long as it doesn't leak too much, should be good to go.

Why eat cold out of a can when you have an oven under the hood? Sit it on your engine for a few and have a nice hot meal.

Used to use that trick when ice fishing. Warm up in the cab, have some lunch, and back on the lake...

Cuz cans have that greasy rubber like stuff lining them. Heat it up and eat it = very bad.
Probably ok once in a while. Right now probably 2/3 of my meals is from cans.

I agree with you but I'm pretty convinced a lot of what's killing us is all of the food packaging as is. There's no way this stuff doesn't get in to our food, and it's in the water already anyway.

    I like Chicken pot Pie.

Cold soup was ruined for me the one time I went a wedding and at the reception they had some weird cold soup dill thing. I wasn't pleased. I still cringe to this day at the thought of cold soup. That one bad experience..ruins all future attempts to try it. lol.

It's weird these days trying to eat right. No matter what you eat, some other person is still going to say your doing it wrong, or it's unhealthy. Personally I'm of the mind a diet is a personal thing. It's not going to work for everyone, as we're all different. Different things work for different people. Like myself...walking works for me quite a bit. I go for a nice, long walk. Works great for me, combined with work an the like. Diets though? Feh. I couldn't stick to one if you wrapped me in double sided tape with extra glue. Other folks though...diets work awesome. Find what works for you, an do it. Easier then it sounds I know.

Something will eventually kill me, if it ends up being my food..well, it was a #### good steak. ;)

Sirscrapntruckalot - When you come to fork in the road...choose tacos.
