Back in 2005 im driving on a smooth nice hwy and the roads got more windier and narrow.I drove thru wolf creek pass and my brks started smoking. There were 2 escape ramps back to back.I managed to get pulled over and waited till brks cooled and proceeded down that very steep grade.Yes I was new.You learn as you go.

That's only if there is signs up that state open range and there are no fences along the ditches. If there are fences it is the ranchers responsibility to keep his livestock off the right of way and most interstate's are fenced so this shouldn't be a problem.

Where I used to live in NM there was a ritzy subdivision that was plagued with roaming cattle who would come in and feed upon the landscaping. When they complained to the sheriff, he informed them that since NM is open range, it was up to their subdivison to keep the cattle out! They had fencing but the kids in the neighborhood knocked the gates down so they could ride their ATV's and dirt bikes in the back hills.

It doesn't matter over the steering wheel or not. I've woke up on the ramp from in the bunk and saw the truck in front of me and jumped in the drivers seat slamming the breaks with the truck not getting any further away until I finally wake up fully and realize I was pulled over.dave26027 Thanks this.

I have woke up to having the truck rocking from wind buffeting it out in the badlands of North Dakota. It can feel like a truck is moving. You look out and it's a white out condition from the blizzard that blew in overnight.

One time I was really tired and close to home but I had inlaws staying over did not want to wake anyone so I pulled of at a local fuel stop to get some sleep. Its hard to explan the situp of the lot but there are train tracks kinda running though the lot and at like 4 am the horns start blowing I jump up so scared I thought I parked on the tracks!!
Took a long time to get back to sleep after that. -
No doubt I was speeding trying to hurry up so I could get off work! Lesson learned that day ... Trust me!
Hitman Thanks this. -
yeah that was a bad one. 10 died directly in that wreck, and a 11th person died a couple miles away in the same fog. only thing that comes close to that sudden onset of fog is western I 94 in michigan along the lake were snow comes out of nowhere and freakin heavy and fast
