There is really no best reason, it's just what fits you in a company. The reason I chose FFE is they many options to running the way you want to LTL, Truckload, Regional, and Local. Do your research on any company that you think you would like to drive for and see what best fits you. FFE just fits me.

The CASCADIA is very roomy. It's quite on the inside, it does have a sliding 5th wheel. Also you can dump your airbags, makes hooking and unhooking trailers a lot smoother. It does have a bunk heater so you do not have to idle the truck for heat. It is a 10 speed. The ride is smooth I think. The truck is great for a team operation and huge for a solo. Plus it looks better than the VOLVO and the 13 letter mistake......BAZINGA. The bad point is there are a couple of blind spots you really have to be careful of.

Passed all 5 written tests today, Start backing tomorrow. Lost 2 more today, one for a suspended license, one hadno money for DPS. 4 people retesting tomorrow. Finished about 3 today and was kind of wishing we had done the whole 10 hours today. Nothing to do here other than school.

Rx looks that you will loose a few more before its over. Some in your class have a horrible attitude and that will get them sent home in a hurry. Just pass it on to your classmates that if they follow instructions everything will fall into place. Try to stay away from those people who have attitudes. Congrats on passing your exams on the first shot.

Will every company is going to have it's bad points. My miles as a solo I would average 2700 to 3200 miles a week. Some weeks less some weeks more. Another plus since I been here is that I will have a pre plann before my final drop on the load that I am on. I get home when I tell them I want to come as long as I communicate with them. Home time is 1 day for every week your out up to 5 days. After five days you will have to turn your truck in then once you come back you will get another truck.

With my hood mirrors I have 0 blind spots. I can see a car 10th feet off my tail till it is clearly visible out the window. It is the same in both sides. And playmaker the towtruck button is a dealer option that the company didn't get

Don't ask me about miles cause my truck was always in the shop. When it was out I ran though. The truck was junk and that is y I got a new one. The shop is good to a degree. My truck always got fixed it just would break new stuff. Home time couldn't be better for me. Only complaint I had with it is I would ask to go home on the 20th for 3 days and would end up there the 16th for 3. Early was allways then never for me. Just remember this, there is no perfect company out there. My dad has over 30 years in the industry and has yet to find one with no problems if u want no problems marry a super model and be a kept man. As long as u keep your head down, keep quiet and run they will treat u great. Help me and playmaker have brand new trucks and now that my girl isnt living in the shop and I got my new fleet manager almost trained I am starting to run great. It is a good company for me though.
