I have seen several threads and waded through hundreds of pages and here is the issue everyone saying to do well and even paid off and have the title do not include any company information. So here it is I want the good and the bad who are you leasing from pros and cons and some financial specs too as well. Also please do not post about scams and fleece purchases this is a biased opinion that has been repeated a thousand times. I have decided to lease now I want to know the truth versus what I find on websites. Thank you in advance for all the help.

I'm living a lease now, going through my second year and I'll tell you ABSOLUTELY...results depend on so many factors I haven't figured it out yet. The obvious stuff remains obvious. I'm ahead of where I started, but I've made less than I did as a company driver. I'm not a doom crier of leases, but I'm certainly not saying that the are magic money makers. The key component in understanding leases is to know for a fact that you are renting to own. Renting is a key factor. Fuel is also a key factor. In my experience, maintenance account also. Numbers aren't magic, but I'm finding myself not living the same experience as other lease drivers at my current company. So, you have AN ANSWER that isn't a doomsayer, but also isn't a lease sycophant. Results will vary.

John Christner Trucking....you can find them here on TTR. New truck 23 cents a mile plus 5 cents a mile maintenance. Their base pay rate is 90 cents a mile plus fuel surcharge. Current fuel surcharge is 14 cents. I currently pay 10 cents a mile because I went into debt on my previous trucks.

Information that I DIDN'T find on the company before I signed on. You probably won't get a new truck when first applying. The good side, you'll pay 17 cents to 21 cents a mile, but you'll pay a higher maintenance per mile cost. Never forget the 120 a week and insurance which are fixed payments even if you don't drive. Insurance will vary based on the trucks AVAILABLE when you show. Remember this fact.

I bad lucked into a truck that cost me a ton of money that I'm still paying out of my maintenance account. A positive...it's all on credit so my cash flow is not affected. My new truck is making money slowly, but paying off my debt. You want a sunshine view of LEASING...you won't find one.

What you want is somebody to do your research, analysis and due diligence for you.

Success depends on your own business abilities. If you have them, then you don't ask this kind of question. You do what you know how to do.

I was simply asking for company names and info on each persons situation as each is different. I have done lots of research and will research more as long as I have a company name.

I hear what you're asking. I don't think you'll get a lot of help here. There's to many haters on this site.

If you lease go where the pay is at least good pay and you have more control.
These .85 to $1 plus fsc mileage based fleases are not good pay.
