The community college near me , three years ago had all manual trans trucks . Now they have all automatic and don’t even teach how to use a manual at all.
Downside to that is all they pass now have restricted licenses and are limited when they hit the job market.
I gota 85 ... 359... ...frame off restoration needs paint & interior yet... batteries not included... make me a offer As much as I like 359's there's no way in Hell I would give that for the 1 pictured in the OP
I have a 1999 379. My insurance is almost half of what my buddies' is on his 389 that is like 2 years old. I also get better mpg than him. I have a c15 and avg in the low 7s, high 6s....depending where I am. If I stay in the Midwest I get 7.4mpg on avg. Besides, none of that even matters if you can't keep your truck on the road. How many trucks are down now due to def issues? Yeah, those new trucks get great fuel mileage when they are parked at the shop waiting on parts.....lol.
What do you mean know how to drive it. It's a truck. You drive it like any other truck....wtf is the difference?
