A truck is only as valuable as some one will pay for it. Ive got a w9 glider with a 12.7 Detroit. You can offer me 200k and I wouldn't take it........

The headline should read, "older trucks are becoming valuable FOR SOME". Older drivers are naturally going to swing towards something they are familiar with, and will pay a hefty premium to still drive them. History has shown, certain items are today's "hot button", and older trucks are right in there, but rest assured, as more and more older drivers throw in the towel, those high prices will drop like a stone once they're gone or retire. O/O's will more than likely be the last to want older trucks, as they just don't fit in with trucking today. I also think, the ultimate blow is when, not if, the feds decide older trucks are more dangerous, and to a novice, they are, and will want a premium for license and insurance. The wonderful state of Colorado charges me an extra $7 bucks a year for my "classic" 44 year old pickup truck,, reason? "Age of vehicle",,,
