Just wanted to share the case I went with for the build I'm about to do. It's a beautiful beast.

Is that only one intake fan ? I also like the Fractal Torrent .

 

Comes with 2. Front and rear. The drive bays can be removed. Has the ability for a ton of fans and is set up for water cooling. Which I have.

 

That's the case my local server is in. But you will need those extra fans. It's not as heat efficient as they say, but it is pretty silent.

 

Ordered this. Arrives tomorrow. Going to see how it works.

So that arrived today. My motherboard says Thursday. But is already local. So good news it will be here tomorrow. I'll be ordering my CPU on thursday. But I'm all set to build. Got my Win10 LTSC and in case the motherboard isn't F10 bios. The file for the flash. Nice thing about this MB is that it is built to update the bios w/o having to have an old CPU installed. I'll share pictures as it happens. It will be up and running soon. Just have to wait for March 3rd to order the video card. But it will still be good until then. I am kind of excited. LOL

 

System specs or this build never happened ?

 

That moment when you are sitting with everything ready. But Amazon still hasn't shown up with your motherboard. Also ordered the Ryzen CPU today. Should be here over the weekend.

I really like the quality of the Arctic AIO cooler. I'll be mounting it to the top of the case. So a fan front and back of case. Plus it. I don't think I'll need more. But if it runs hot. I can easily throw a couple more in it. It's for sure got the room.

 

So I have a question. Should the fan on the power supply come on when you turn on the power supply? I'm not sure if I have a DOA power supply. Installed the motherboard and hooked up the power supply. Plugged it in and turned it on. Wanted to flash the BIOS to F10. For when the CPU gets here. But it's like there's no power. Even pushed the case's power button to be sure. I have till the 19th to return it.

 

I'm sure it has to be underload for the thermal circuit to kick it in .
