Hey Six and AModel, what do y’all think of resistance bands? I don’t truck anymore, but still on the road just as much it seems. So for me I can throw a couple resistance bands in my suitcase. Do you think they can serve the same purpose as dumbbells?
-
Honestly have never tried them before so I can't really offer any opinion on them.
DeereRunner97 Thanks this. -
I finally started messing around with my forge a bit. Hammering steel with one hand and keeping it secured in the tongs will give you a decent forearm burn after a bit.TripleSix, hope not dumb twucker and DeereRunner97 Thank this.

This is all I need.
silverspur, TripleSix, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
ANYTHING is better than nothing. Just flexing muscles with no resistance at all is better than nothing. Resistance bands would be the equivalent of the machines.
I wasn’t saying that the machines were worthless, I am saying that if you are paying $100/hour for personal training, that trainer had better start you out in the dumbbell section because that’s the best bang for the buck. Any other section than the free weights, STARTING OUT, is them stealing your money by wasting your time.Diesel Dave Thanks this.
