The plane lane

Those planes in the road are used in VASCAR enforcement. (Visual Average Speed Computer And Recorder). Its neither radar or laser. A bear in the air calculates how fast you re running by how long it takes you to go from plane to plane or from line to line. Basically Rate=distance times time

 

That is super easy to explain. "I was driving to fast for conditions."

If you are going around a blind corner so fast that you can't stop for a sudden obstruction in the road...

lol, I remember that one. Many years back, way before political correct was first uttered, I was someplace in AZ or New Mexico on a rez and saw a sign that said watch for drunks passed out in in the road way.

 

When I started driving back in 2000, I saw one of the guys I met in orientation at our OKC terminal. He had killed a drunk Indian crossing the interstate at night. He was still with his trainer at the time.

 

Thats like the sign on I-5 nb in SanClemete, ca that says caution then they have a pic of a man, women and child holding hands running across the freeway poor illegals get hit all the time there trying to run across 4 lanes of heavy traffic...
