The only fitting I have is a 4" 45 degree that I use on guppys/pigs when I use my short hose. I'll use the shortie if I'm on the inside so a truck next to me can unload as well.

I carry 1 3 inch male to male for extending the hot ar hose, 3 10 hoses and one 20 foot hose. the 3 short hoses goes in a hose box under the front trailer, the long hose on my drawbad. I carry ant extra stuff in the frony of the trailer, its open above the 5th wheel.

I suppose I'm lucky as I have 6 hose tubes one twenty footer and five ten footers I carry two 45's and two each double male and double females which I keep in my tubes I also keep two more twenty footers rolled up in the nose of the trailer. I've been on locations where I've had all 110 feet on the ground which makes for a really long blow time.

Cement is heavy enough that it doesn't need top air to push it down. Just push all your tank air through the aerators. Top air is useful for light, fluffy products like hydrated quicklime and dolomitic quicklime.

    Air Cooled Thanks this.

I unload all those products with ariators, not top (tank) air. has nothing to do with weight, your using the ariators to blend (fluff up) air into the product, we call that a liquid state. This allows the powder to flo simular to water.

Sometimes I wish I didn't carry so much hose if I didn't have it they'd be forced to get me closer.

well, gentleman, i've read this whole thread (and other similar). I've got an offer to do local bulk pneumatic work, where the yard is literally 2 miles from my house (which is very rare, most trucking yards are an hour away). Hauling stuff for cement plants. (cement, fly ash, etc, basically they supply all these plants around the region and some summer construction ones).

the pay is average at best (but my commute would be basically zero, I could ride my bicycle probably faster than drive it), per load (per ton by trip, confusing and when they start confusing you...........) new trucks, assigned trucks and trailers, great CSA score, nanny cameras,

I'm thinking of taking it (I have zero bulk experience). But I'd be grateful for opinions and thoughts.
