The Pneumatic Tanker Thread

What is it?

 

Salt going to a customer for water treatment.

 

Shows ya what know, just figured salt would be white....

 

Took a wrong turn somewhere, unloading in Mississippi in the morning.

 

I know I am going to feel lile idiot after this...

All the new trailers we have just gotten have this on the frame rail.

Can someone please tell me what it is.

 

Its to close up the bottom clamp on the hopper.

 

It's white, just don't think he drug studio quality lighting up there to get an Olan Mills quality portrait...

Every type should have a thread, ie liquid tank/hazmat tank, end dump/dump types, pneumatic, heavy haul, car hauler etc

 

You load at a really cool looking facility. Looks like it would be neat to walk around there and see what all is happening.

Please tell me where are going to park tonight so I can come by and steal your clean tractor and trailer.

Granted, I haven't stayed on top of the new one I got forced into last month nearly as much as the 2019 I was in before because I just can't stand anything about it, but between the weather up in Minneapolis when I went a few days ago and the total mud pit I pull my loads of it is totally disgusting even by garbage truck standards right now.

Heading down to Lebanon, TN tomorrow for a Monday delivery, I will have to force myself to stop and get a wash on it, i am fairly sure it shrink when all the grime starts to get blasted off.
