Safety was saying 12360 was good for the steers its influenced by the tire rating. I missed the part about BT weight.

When I'm doing the Texas regional thing, around 22-2500. When I go OTR its closer to 3k.

I can only speak for myself and the people I trained with, but we mostly drove 70 hours a week and logged everything else off duty. It's not right, but the money would suck otherwise. Especially when you're still learning to tarp.

48,600 of drywall. I was hoping It would work all on the bottom deck, and It did, just barely. The spread was just shy of 40k and gross was 80,400. I think they were 12' sheets. Probably won't see a load like this on a step again but it was good to see how it worked out.

What is involved in switching from reefer to flatbed if you are lease? How long is the load securement class?

The class for upgrade was all of a day. Hopefully it's a touch longer when switching. Regardless, there is a lot of ojt, ask questions of drivers and look over other drivers loads at shippers and stops. Always use more than minimum securement.

Does anyone know of any dedicated flatbed accounts we do similar to the sheet rock account in Duke? I've been waiting to get on at Duke but they have no openings as of yet. Right now Ive been running OTR without taking any home time for the past half year and it's really draining me. I just want to find a dedicated deal I can do where I can buy a home in the corresponding area and have some sense of normalcy and regimen. Do we do anything similar to what we do in Duke anywhere else? I'd really love to stay with Prime to find this.

Yes, ask your FM about a dedicated run. They are out there but they only use a few trucks so you might have to wait untill someone drops the ball or something.

You should be getting home every 4 weeks minimum. I go home 6-7 days every 4 weeks right this second and still manage to take home $4-7k/month.

Our dedicated flatbed accounts are pretty not great here, and that duke account goes to gypsum every other week regardless of weather conditions.

You need to bump your DM if you're having this rough a time.
