This question was kinda asked earlier I guess...
I'm reefer wanting to go flatbed at end of my lease in October . I'm thinking when I call the leasing office about a new truck I'll just order a flatbed setup !!!
Any way my question has anyone actually made the transition ? Is the securment class the only thing you have to do?

Someone had a pipe stake mishap and ripped up two stake pockets on this trailer. It's been fun working around it...
Last time I used pipe stakes for drilling pipe, the unloader had me remove them so something like this wouldn't happen of something went south. He said it was better to just let the pipe fall on the ground. -

Luckily all the damage is on one side of the trailer and can still use the winches.
although It does need to get fixed soon...jomar68 Thanks this. -
That's some MacGyver like use of a strap right there, I like that. Does that strap roll make you nervous? I might bring it over and winch it through on the passenger side.

The bungee should keep it in place. a winch on the other side would be fast, good idea.
I'm still debating on taking it to a terminal or get it fixed someplace else. Who wants to go to SPRIMO...darthanubis and dragginmaster Thank this. -
Machinery is decent to run. Jlg stuff is light and securment is pretty easy. Could use advice for a/c units from laredo for chains on the lower frame for securment. Or if anyone has pictures could you post them here.

Some of them have small eyelets but you have to remove the chain hook, or have a small shackle, to get the chain through.
I have some pics but they are on my dead laptop. -
Had to share a picture of the road wife
