Don't forget the flip flops for the showers, that is a very good defense against infections.

Many carriers allow pets. Little ones are best. We had cats who love that dash to sun themselves. Then discover the lap under the wheel. Not too smart on broken bridges when you slam across them.

Food will likely be your biggest thinking in money. Whatever you make ALWAYS put some aside against problems in the road when you decide how much goes to the house. Do not touch that set aside money and remember you can go three days without water max before your body begins to create problems affecting your nerve and thinking and you can do about the same without food if necessary.

Your first few times in the bunk around roaring trucks are not going to be too restful. You will adapt.

Now is a good time to get your pilot, loves, ta cards
I think you can order them online
And get the trucker path app
    A good guide to truckstops
Skip the chain drive wallet and 6.99 driving gloves.

What's with the chain drive wallets? I thought chain wallets were a thing ten years ago. I don't see them much now. Is this like the flip flops and sweatpants thing?

Start studying for your cdl permit so you'll have one less headache to worry about. You'll probably have one week of classroom which you'll learn the hours of service how to lo,gread an atlas and trip planing.you'll watch many videos. You may have recruiters come in.2nd week you'll be on the range learning how to pre trip maybe drive you'll also learn backing which will provably be done at the school. If you have trouble with something ask other students in your class for help.Working as a team is always good.
