“Average income” is not accurate, unless “last six drivers hired” is the sample.
I speak mostly of “10 1/2 hour day”,
And “regular schedule “
if you don’t go to the same customers day after day, or each week, you will get lost, not know of road construction, not know which door to enter, or which dock, etc.
And you won’t get done in 10 1/2 hours.
FedEx Ground is starting Saturday and Sunday coverage, which is where the new driver is assigned, and the new dispatcher, and that’s a formula for wasted time.
Oh, and the dispatch has banker hours.....what a mess.
Don’t forget the weekend crew at the customers.

I've driven for lots of companies that only had "bankers hrs" dispatch and office. wait until morning is all.
