3 days with Graebel last week was enough bedbuggin' for me. Toodaloo.
CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
2 days driving a trash truck because I happened to meet a former driver that told me to go in and question them about taking taxes. I did and they weren't taking any, when I said well I'm an employee you have to, they said no you are an IC, so I said thanks but no thanks.
Another after 2 weeks for a very similar reason, I didn't like the way they were doing things after 2 paychecks so I left.
Usually if you get the feeling early, I've found it's best to act on it. It's better for all involved to end things quickly, sometimes ya just know... -
I leased on to a company near my house running out to west coast and back to the southeast. They paid percentage and I looked at a few loads they haul and what they paid. But couldn't really determine how many miles I would actually run to figure out what it would pay per mile. I asked and the guy thinks about it and says about $1.40/mile pulling there trailer. And it's out and back. So figure i'll give it a try. Best load I hauled was $ 1.38 /mile. I averaged about $ 1.20/mile.
I stayed five months. -
So did you really just get your CDL the day before?
