I’m staying at my buddies house who owns a 5 man brokerage.

We refrain talking business come 5 o’clock during ####tail hour but I’ll get some intel.

I know past couple weeks it has been hard to move open deck that he specializes in because of lack of trucks .

 

I wouldn't read too much into the rates being down a bit. Brokers and customers are always going to push back on rates.

I myself am not seeing any signs of slowing. I have brokers calling me daily with freight they can't get covered. This has been going on since BEFORE the holiday rush even set in. We will be fine until the Covid vaccine has been widely distributed and accepted here in the US. As that time gets closer, I would certainly expect the rates to head toward the bottom within 1-3 months of that happening. After all, the door swings both ways.

 

Low fuel prices and high rates are what draws in the ones that will drive the rates down.

 

I know your probably getting a little burned out but I think I would keep pushing to the bitter end for now.

Than plan on buckling down.

The Scamdemic inflation on everything has to slow down the economy .

My brother owns a high end residential construction company.

The house he built last year and just sold for 700 thousand he can’t even begin to build for that price today.

Only thing that is keeping the economy on fire is 30 year loans on boats and rvs with %2 .

The rest of the sheep wont even realize they are being swallowed by inflation and new taxes.
