Hello to all,
I am a newbie to the forum. I think its a great site. I have a question and I would to have your opinions. I am 50 years old and soon will be 51. I drove for over 12 years. The last time I was in a big truck was 20 years ago and at that time I was pulling a tanker in Va and WV. When the wife became pregnant with our second child I slowed down and came off the road. I no longer have my CDL. I am getting the bug again and wanted to ask what everyone thanks about me getting back into it. I would need to get my class A and indorsements once again. I would like to go over the road and travel not just local.
Just tell me what you think, this is something that is really running thru my mind and something I think about everyday. I do have a job and enjoy it now, but I have always loved to drive. I am married and have been for 27 years. We have a daughter in colleage and our son is in the Navy stationed in Kuwait. I would like to travel with the wife once she retired.
Well thats it. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
The road is calling my name after many years.
