Thanks for the info, I usually just follow the gps because I’ve only been thru Chicago a few times but it always seem to hit the city at rush hour

Understatement of the year. Especially if you gotta go through Milwaukee first.
And please do not mention Neenah. That city is my nightmare lol

Just get a dedicated gig running Chicago in the morning and afternoon ;)

Also about that Quala Wash up in Nee...

Went up there for a clean empty and out of all 6 trailers dispatch told me SHOULD be there, not a single one could be found. Dont know where they could of hid them all but not a soul around weekend night to ask.

That’s almost exactly what this ecolab account is .. don’t necessarily have to run into Chicago but still have to deal with all of its traffic smh. And as crazy as that is I’ve had the reverse up in the Wi where the trailers were there just not clean went through like 4 and it was pretty much the only load they had

Ran into one of the Master drivers today at the pilot and he says he’s clearing 90k a year... which if true he must be practicing several forms of voodoo and/or sorcery. Just hope he gets to see his home and family.
Since being on the ecolab account I haven’t stopped moving.. every time I see a preassignment I start sweating just thinking about the pickle suit. The work is pretty easy just the suit and added paperwork. Actually the paper work is the most frustrating because they weigh the trucks in kg, well their scale tickets are. They have the weights on the bol In kg and lbs but if you have two compartments going to the same place they don’t split the weights on the bill. So before making the hazmat check call you gotta convert the kg to lbs then to gallons which is also needed for the ecolab release paperwork. Also the bills are split into separate packets so you gotta release the staples and put them together. Also they don’t placard or remove placards from trailers either so during pretrip you have to replacard the trailer as necessary. It’s just a swell time making sure every little detail is correct which usually eats up about 30-45 mins for me.(that’s including dropping my dirty)

the guy that trained l on eco lab said he’s getting 60-70 which I can now see as he from Joliet. My first week on ecolab I’ll be around 1200-1300gross and I’m still learning the operation
But 90k he must be delivering all kinds of loads. He did have the master driver shirt on
    And said 90k atleast 3xs

I can’t even imagine it man unless he is on some super lucrative dedicated account and training like three new recruits every two weeks. I know the monsanto account could get you 90k+ before they butchered the pay rate
