How close are you to Weirton, West Virginia?
Howard Transportation has a terminal there in Weirton.
They haul dedicated freight out of there which means you'll get good hometime.

    My 2 cents worth.

    Hello,

I just reread your intro, you completed the course though a CDL school, but never did get your CDL? Is that what your saying?

I am wondering about the accreditation of the school itself? Plus while there, were there any recruiters from the major trucking companies to recruit its graduating students?

If one plus one equals two.

If a mega carrier were to hire you, I am sure that they would require you to take training at their own CDL programs, and would road test you and get you a CDL. And of course going out with a trainer, and after a job as a solo driver.

Now if I am wrong and you do have your CDL, then perhaps a mega carrier would just require you to go out OTR with a trainer for a specific time, then solo out, and your hired.

But if I read your info right, your going up to different trucking firms, saying you had CDL training, but no CDL.

And as a consequence, they are saying, there's nothing they can offer you job wise in your situation, is that right?

    Or am I wrong?

I earned my Class A CDL with a tanker endorrsement to clear up any confusion. Also Schneider, Maverick, Werner, and TMC sent recruiters.

Its about 125 miles away. I'm right on the border of Marietta Ohio and can be in Ohio in less than 5 minutes

Try Nick Strimbu Inc. in Brookfield,OH
Teamsters Union outfit. Has flatbed division. Hires new cdl grads.

Universal Truckload - flatbed division hires new cdl grads. Haul military loads.

PI&I Motor Express - Teamsters - hires new cdl grads.

I'd still try Howard Transportation also.
