The Thanks! button

So at 45, you had a little brat accuse you of losing your mind? And you actually PAID ATTENTION TO IT?????

You should have pointed out that the MAIN REASON we lose our minds, are OUR KIDS!

Anyway, to your question. It seems that mine will come and go. I can be extremely articulate and remember exactly something that happened, and how to describe it. Then get half way through a sentence and just come up with a total blank.

It is not too hard to deal with on the forum or in other written works. But in face to face conversation, it can be quite upsetting to me. Thank God, my wife, kids and friends understand it, and (for the most part,) will cut me some slack over it.

 

Well, actually at 45 he was a 6'4" 24 yr. old brat When ever he would join me on the truck to help out he loved to talk about movies he had seen and would get frustrated when I couldn't remember something from a movie I had just watched.

If he should tease me again, I will be sure to let him know what you said! Thank You.

 

I feel you can tell alot about a person's character from the thanks and thanked tallies. A poster that has a 10-1 ratio of being thanked to issuing thanks most likely isn't a very considerate person.

 

I like this idea also, or a "your full of %^*&# button.

 

Just let me get my "thanks" count up for a bit before the BS count flies past and leaves it in the dust!

 

Or it COULD be...He is very hard to please...Or holds himself,(or herself) to a high standard.,and does not hand out praise as a matter of being polite? I could think of more,but I am not a psychiatrist,which reminds me,I am late for my appointment with one..

 

I clicked the THANKS Button then took it away, I'm so confused weather I should or not,,,what to do,,,what to do,,,tilt tilt tilt... ???!!!
