I can scan and send you the fan solenoid diagram no problem. But this book was specific to my 78 rollback truck with a 3406 PCTA without a brakesaver...so that info wouldn't be in there for the Brakesaver unfortunately. The front page actually says "manual for 1978 W900A with my VIN #...so luckily the one I'm working on is a 78 and the same motor at least, so a lot of the info relates.
Yup, that's why you have a mix of steel and aluminum, it was built in Canada, and for severe duty hence the steel reinforcements. Mine is a whimpy version from the states, for cream puff usage, LOL...

@SmokinCAT Another sled puller ?
-
Nope, this is a truck he wants to get back road ready, he has always wanted an aerodyne and found this one in missouri and had to have it. Originally a glider it was a very early K100E, has all black VIT interior.
I am actually probably going to turn my w900a down a little and use it for a tow truck for my K100 and just stick with one puller.
We have another K100, its an 83 flat top, it needs rear diffs and by chance a guy gave a GMC general to dad if we pull the engine for him and it happens to have the proper diff that I need to get this one mobile.

I had the block completely out of my K100 this past year putting a cam in and going thru a good bit of other parts, last pull of the season in 2015 it broke a valve, it wasnt serious damage to anything but it gave me a good reason to really get into her.snowman_w900 and Diesel Dave Thank this.

I still got my 1979 K100 sitting. I still don't know what I'm going to do with it. I had a few guys look at it, but they think there doing me a favor taking it off my hands next to nothing. Told them, she looks just fine where she is sitting at.

I have thought about selling my A but I cant bring myself to do it as I spent to much time on it and I know I wont be able to replace it.
My k100 is pretty comical now with the way the big cam runs, it surprises a lot of people, injectors with oversized barrels and plungers really have changed its attitude.snowman_w900 and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
the K100 aerodynes are so cool.
when i was a kid my dad crashed his K100,was supposed to get an aerodyne to replace it. ended up with a new flat double bunk K100. i was a little upset about not having the windows.
i keep asking him to find the pics of that crash,you guys would be amazed he and his buddy lived. when the police showed up they said to my dad "that didn't make it..." it was in arkansas. tore the trailer off behind the 5th wheel plate. -
Well I think I've worked up enough motivation to slap that #### transmission back together today. Between work, wrong kits being ordered and parts not matching up its been a 2+ month project so far. And that is just for the main box. Still haven't touched the auxillary yet.
W900AOwner and Oxbow Thank this.
