Don’t know how well the picture portrays it but the coil is leaning pretty good to the passenger side, is off center by a good 8”, and there’s only 2 coil racks for this coil which looks at least 40k lbs

And look where he placed the racks. Not on the frame rails. All the weight is setting inside on the floor. Few pics from 2 weeks ago.
Idk who teaches these guys, but one day they will question why their trailers don't hold up long. I wish I had taken a better picture of that GD. Looked like the center 4' of trailer was about to exit. Looked bad from a distance.

Now assuming this has already happened. What would you do in this case?

P.s this could be the reason why I always use ratchets and winches on both sides.

I secured Coils in SUICIDE format.
I used 4 - 6 Centered Chains and Ratchets spreading out and about the same number at 45 degrees.
    Then it was Tarped.
Whether the Chains went "through" the Rub Rail or over it, Coils didn't move and I was never questioned.

    CAXPT Thanks this.

No friction mats or belts and not enough racks.

    CAXPT Thanks this.

You call a tow company with a rotator or a crane company that can lift the coil and reset it.

Here is a good example of what shortcuts get you. Saved what, 5 maybe 10 minutes getting set and loaded. That shortcut will cost a few grand to fix.

    CAXPT Thanks this.

Looks more like a photoshop gag. Laying sideways, that thing would be too tall to fit into a container that is only about 8 feet wide. :)

THIS in bold is the pertinent part.
Dont have a hook grab bar underneath? Well, the rub rail is the only practicable place for the hook to grab on an aluminum trailer.
The flange of the main beams for aluminum arent thin enough to grab onto (not to mention, think of the torsional stress you would be putting on usually just ONE of the main beams) its not practicable, ergo, hook to rub rail

How many racks would you have used on that?
