I think people who hate e-logs are the ones who like to bent the rules. Not pointing fingers just making a statement.

We don't bend the rules. We are just the creative type.

There's nothing wrong with occasionally bending the rules....Like when your plans fall through and it takes an extra 15 minutes to find a parking spot....

Any DOT worth his salt would see that for what it is....Especially these days when truck parking (Or the lack of) is an issue.....

My .02. I have no problem if you like to run them. Honestly thats great. More loads for me. I am sorry but I determine when its time to goto sleep. Maybe just maybe all the company drivers and lease operators need one to straighten out their dispatch. I can see that. But last time I checked I am captain of the ship. Not any dispatcher or owner or anyone else. Maybe when the driver has some time to take a rest, they should do that rather than play the poker machines in the truckstop. Again if you like it fine, but it should not be forced on the rest of us that can handle it.

We have a driver on TTR who (He mainly frequents the Political Section) claims he drives 18 hours straight quite frequently....Ya think this is maybe why the FMCSA wants mandatory EOBR's?

We don't hire students and my last 2 companies have used EOBR's (linde group, Sentinal Systems, Sysco etc..) So much for that solid "Lockridge" report eh ? Also Estes, Old Dominion and numerous other of the better higher paying jobs use EOBR's..I like them, they can't screw with me or make me run over hours or deny me pay...

    Yep.....

    I usually get 550-600 miles a day.....And that's running 10 hours driving....

I have yet to take a load that requires me to run against my log.......

Well honestly. He prolly works about 6 hours a day then. I guess we can go with the big pecker syndrome. Usually the ones that claim to have/do the most in all reality have/do the least. Most true Outlaw truckers don't brag about it.
