I applied to dot. I’m debating between DG with Hogan, or Freymiller. If I run OTR it won’t be long term, enough to get my experience up for a sweet local gig.

I'd go with Freymiller, no question.
    Where in Florida are you?

If you are allergic to touching freight then go with Freymiller. You will get a nice truck with driver comfort and you will get some good long hauls

Saw a video about their trucks; it was from 2018.

But from what I understand if you go with DOT you can make some good money. You just wont drive as far. Its more like a regional gig, and they want you to live close to one of their termimals

I don't like the deployable ladders. But otherwise that looks like a well designed truck. Now we just need the top bunk to have cup holders. Glad to see they finally gave the top bunk charging station.

The ladder will hold up to 400 lbs of fat ### truck driver but the bottom sleeper will fold away the ladder then the top sleeper is stuck up there and wakes up at night and has to piss all he can do is piss in a jug. And since there are no cup holders he might piss in his drink because the deployable ladder is gone and he cannot get down without breaking something. At least his phone will be charged though. He can make a facebook post about how he just urinated in his soda.

Offer the deployable ladder but also keep the side steppers. Because sometimes the bottom sleeper is going to be the heavier driver and will not like the ladder being in his way and will fold it up so we can get into his bed.

The person using the top bunk can use the windows up there as a commode.
As truckers say, "The world is my urinal" or "The world is my commode."

The sleeper windows in my freightliner have screens.

That ladder is just always in the way and it makes the sleeper cab feel really small. My last partner and I agreed to just not use the ladder at all and I will jump off the top bunk so that I can go outside and piss on the pavement like a normal trucker.

Unfortunately me falling off the top bunk wakes up my partner every time I do it.

If my sleeper windows didn't have screens it would be doable. I could probably just pee right down the side of the truck parked next to me.

When I was a kid I slept in an unfinished basement. In some places like Utah they have those basements that have the wood sidings and concrete walls in place, but it's not finished. There's always a storm flood drain in the middle of those basements in case it floods or a water pipe breaks.

I started pissing in that drain and it was going great for a time. I didn't have to walk all the way up stairs and argue with the female that was always in the bathroom painting her face.

Then the smell kicked in and my cover was blown. I wasn't smart enough at the time to chase it down with some bleach or hydrogen peroxide. I just saw a black hole and I pee'd in it.

If your house has a storm drain and you stick your kids down there in the basement. Beware. They are pissing in your storm drain, guaranteed. Guys can't resist it. They see a circular hole in the ground and it's like instinct.
