    I used to get calls from my DM at Werner who would tell me to call the log department, and request certain times to be changed to "save" time on my fourteen. I simply told him that I wasn't going to do that. Getting paid .21 cpm at the time, I could have cared less about saving a few hours!

    Maybe maybe not. Been spending so much time with doctors the last 5 years trying to get things figured out that I'm kind of burned out on it. I miss it, but I wouldn't be able to deal with the current HOS! I drove when you could split your working clock!

    They're a Melodic Death Metal band from Finland. I've seen them live (they opened for Black Label Society). Alexi is an amazing guitarist. I hate Death Metal in general (Americans can't do it right).

    Wow - Children of Bodom...I haven't heard anyone mention that band name in a while!

    Did you ever hear what the band name "Children of Bodom", was based off? A Jason/Friday the 13th-esque murder. A bunch of teenagers went camping at Lake Bodom during the summer and were murdered during the middle of the night.

    They never found who committed the murder...

    Oh well, way off topic.

    Ive read thru all the posts Ive been driving for 13yrs,, Put up with the BS until you get your own rig.. then have a few good words with your fleet manager about hours of service.. They will get to know you.. Do a good job for them but tell them you will not go over HRS.. Takes a while but it works.. just be respectfull...

    My 2 cents
