I once saw a good driver, one time. It was July 23, 1989 down in Saline Valley. (This is a remote area that is NW of Death Valley, and at the time was accessed only by high clearance vehicles.)
-
Yeah I noticed this when I was about five years old where have you been?
-
Worst drivers are those that work for like ffe or w.e that are 1mph faster then swift and he's 2 miles behind swift sees me coming up doing 75 jumps in front of me like an a hole which at this point I have to make the call weather to stomp on the brakes or pass on the right. A LOT OF THOSE drivers lately been making those stupid ### judgement calls where they think its okay. I'm sure a lot of people here haven't drove over 75+ in a big rig let me tell u those mile markers come up pretty fast

Worst drivers are the ones that have any bumper stickers on their car.
When I see a bumper sticker I just assume it reads: I know you were expecting some clever slogan or my opinion on something that you could give a rat's behind about, but really I just wanted to let you know I'm about to do something stupid.S M D Thanks this. -
All of them. I am amazed more dont die in crashes than they do. The worst thing is when they lose their desk job and want to drive a truck. Same stupidity, bigger vehicle. We see them every day. Drove through a parking lot and forgot they had a trailer. Pulled some poor sleeping driver's hood off. Still panic in construction zones...CRASH! Panic in weigh stations...sign says to maintain 45 mph and they do 15. Ride in the middle lane just like the idiots in cars until they need off the expressway, then they cut over without checking their mirrors.
Just because you never had an accident does not mean that you didn't cause one. -
The worst, the absolute total worst drivers on the roads are the ones who think they are the best, the ones who swear they know it all, have done it all and have nothing else to learn. They usually never notice their own mistakes, are always blaming things on other people. Those are the worst drivers.
Let us not forget the "super truckers" who feel the need to run all out all the time in the left lane. The same ones who want to whine and cry and cuss and complain when ever one of the slower trucks from one of the "megas" or "bottom feeder"companies needs to get over there and pass someone. Yes they are going slower than you, but they have the same right to be there, as long as they are passing someone. Believe me it won't hurt you to slow down whilst they do so.

Miss Sass Thanks this. -
That was me, of course as you know that area was not part of Death Valley NM/NP in 89, like it is now. Maybe Im thinking of 86 with the Berman situation over at the Cinnabar? No it was summer 89 with a load of blue marbles as I recall. IMO the back-roads into Saline valley are more my cup of tea, but Ive spent my share of time on both Saline Valley roads. Sounds like we might have traveled some of the same dusty Winnemucca Roads
Big Don Thanks this. -
Speaking of winnemuca dust I just passed by its blowing wind and dust @35mph or so 77°Cy Ran Thanks this.

Worst I've seen were Atlanta drivers after they got 5 minutes of sleet and freezing rain. Everyone was stopped on the side or off in the kudzu.
