Bass Pro Shops, Springfield, Mo. Lady at the receiving desk will email complaining about how horrible you are if you're anything less than her perfect little slave. If you show up early for an appt, they'll let you in no problem, but tell you to come back at appt time after you're in the fence. Oh, but you can't leave the fence. No restrooms and no idling allowed while you're in the dock. Hey, it's only like 100 degrees out.

I don't always have problems there, but have to vent about Dandy/Cross Docks cooler in Salinas. Picked up the first of three pickups a mile away no problem at 8am. Call up Dandy to make an appointment even though one of our pickups there already had one at 11am but the other pickup there didn't. I give them the numbers and they say don't show up til 5:30pm for the 11am appointment even though it is ready already and the other will be ready at 8 or 9.
So we sit about 6-7 hours at the first pickup after we got loaded and head over at 5pm. Check in with the numbers and they say the first one is ready but they'll just wait to load both at the same time and the last one isn't ready. 5 hours later we get a call from them and now suddenly our last pickup number doesn't exist. How did it exist 5 hours ago? After about an hour back and forth on the phone between dispatch and Dandy they finally tell us their excuse.
Their magic excuse was it was probably a good number for day shift but not night shift. My mind was blown. How does that even make the least bit of sense? You either have the stuff or you don't, and I know they didn't and wouldn't admit it. So we essentially sat for 10-11 extra hours to hear this and have them call Kroger and cancel the pickup and we were finally on our way. -

I personally boycott all Tyson products. They are responsible for putting dangerously tired drivers out on the road. Some plants (Waterloo, IA, Ottawa, IL, Holcomb, KS to name several) won't even call you or knock on your truck when the load is ready. You have to keep calling them or walking into the guard shack to check on it every hour or so. This results in not being able to sleep while waiting. They have zero tolerance for late deliveries, even when it's entirely their fault for not having it loaded on time.

I have never had anyone say anything to me about idling even tho it is always posted-it is too hot not to have your a/c on-just do it-really doubt anyone will say anything. The only places I have ever had a problem is the caves-a few underground facilities in MO and AR where you cannot run anything-even turn off reefer underground
